- You can find out more about Revel and Matrix’s sire, Jackson, by viewing this old video I put together to announce Matrix’s litter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmJVadh72hc Since the video was taken, Revel has had many other accomplishments — receiving her CDX with scores in the 90’s each time, achieving her RAE, and completing many agility titles in AKC and NADAC. She is training for her utility title and also her rally championship and agility championship title. She does agility trials with me at least once a month, and loves it. Revel’s daughter, Matrix, has not yet competed, but she is very talented. She is co-owned with a family whose daughter was in my 4-H program and remains the daughter’s training project, with big plans to do obedience and agility in the future. I usually prefer to get a CD on my girls before breeding them, but we are concerned that delaying her first litter will cause a conflict with her competition schedule down the road, so the timing is right now. Although Matrix is unproven in the show ring, I am keeping a puppy from this litter to be my personal obedience dog, as I’m impressed with what I’ve seen of her. I will get some video together. At this point we are planning on breeding Matrix to English/European lines in order to have a strong outcross and get a very healthy pedigree with lots of longevity, but we are not completely decided on which stud we will use.
