Derby’s temperament is impeccable, she’s kind to everyone and especially enjoys children, but her focus is very much on her human partner. She loves training with her partner and has shown to several titles, with plans to compete for her CDX in the near future. Derby is great with other dogs, intelligent and wanting to please, has no health issues, and has never had a hot spot or day of lameness in her life. Her pedigree is excellent for health and longevity, as well as intelligence and trainability. Derby’s sire, Matthew, is a conformation grand champion with a utility title (the highest level of obedience) as well as other working titles. He is still being shown at 9 years old and is gorgeous. Matthew’s dam was an obedience and conformation champion as well, and is just one aspect of the reason this pedigree is strong for beauty and brains. And Derby’s dam’s side of the pedigree has incredible longevity. Derby’s maternal grandsire is a well known Canadian stud, Major, with excellent health and longevity, who is still alive today at 15 years old. Derby’s maternal grandmother is still alive at 16 and in excellent health. We are really excited to have a bitch with such good longevity in her lines, and we’ve been thrilled with the type and intelligence of the puppies Derby has had so far.
Haven
Haven is our first show golden, and what a blonde bombshell she is. She won Reserve Winners Bitch as a puppy on a specialty weekend, and she is pointed in AKC. She also has her UKC championship and her rally novice title. She got her CCA with high marks, one of the judges noting she had one of the most beautiful head pieces he’d ever seen. She is also smart, eager to learn, and wants to please — and would have her CD and more rally titles by now if her human partner had more time for her. In addition to being beautiful, we love how this girl exudes happiness She is the happiest dog in our house. She also exudes confidence and was a natural show dog from day one.
